Stephen and Joyce Singular, represented by William Morris Endeavor (WME), have signed a contract with Counterpoint Press to write a book about James Holmes, who carried out the largest mass shooting in American history in July 2012 at the Aurora movie theater. This book will examine the larger social issues involving gun control, mental health, video games, neuroscience, doctor/patient confidentiality, and will offer a variety of perspectives from the twenty-something generation that’s driven much of this violence.
The rights to our 2008 book, When Men Become Gods: Mormon Polygamist Warren Jeffs, His Cult of Fear, and the Women Who Fought Back, has been purchased by Sony. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron optioned the book and Judith Verno is producing the TV movie based on it. Sony and Lifetime are beginning production on “Outlaw Prophet” based on When Men Become Gods. The paperback version of The Wichita Divide has been published by St. Martin’s Press, under the new title of A Death in Wichita: Abortion Doctor George Tiller and the New American Civil War.
In the spring of 2014 Stephen will appear on the I.D. Discovery Channel regarding his NY Times best-selling book, A Killing in the Family, the story of Cinnamon and Patti Brown.
Joyce Jacques Singular has completed working on a memoir about the founder of a multi-national corporation and the book was published in 2012.

They are currently helping a prominent Denver marijuana lawyer write his autobiography.
Stephen has appeared on numerous media outlets including, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show, Hardball, CNN’s Larry King Live, Anderson Cooper 360, TruTV, ESPN, FOX. Joyce and Steve have both appeared on the I.D. Discovery Channel’s Deadly Women Series.
The couple is available for book doctoring, editing, and assistance with articles and other professional writing projects, especially in Denver and throughout Colorado’s Front Range.
